J. Konold motioned to approve John Horsfall of 5760. Canterbury Road his request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of an addition to the existing home and that the following <br />variances be granted: <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building, section (1165.02). <br />1. A 7 foot variance for rear yard setback, (code requires SOft, applicant shows 43ft), section <br />(1135.08 A). <br />2. A 1foot variance for distance between dwelling and detached garage, ( code requires 15ft, <br />applicant shows 14ft), section (1135.02 C-2). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, <br />(1135.08 A), (1135.02) and 1165.02). Note: Addition effectively makes the garage a one car <br />parking space. The motion was seconded by, W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. <br />Variances & Special Permit Granted. ` <br />2. Jim Grebinoski; 4490 Azalea Lane: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a fence. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 17 foot variance for side yard setback on corner lot, (code requires 25ft, applicant <br />shows 8ft). <br />2. A 1 foot 2-inch variance for height of 130ft of fence in side yard setback, (code permits <br />2ft 6inch, applicant shows 3ft 8inch). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.02 F-2 & F-1). <br />Vice Chairman, Maloney called all interested parties forward and reviewed the request. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Grebinoski, the owner who came forward. Mr. Grebinoski <br />commented that he would like to fence in his backyard. The fence will be 44 inches high, and <br />will be 50% open. The fence will be closer to the sidewalk then what the code allows. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to approve Jim Grebinoski of 4490 Azalea Lane his request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of a fence and that the following variances be granted: <br />1. George Hancv; 3130 Olmsted Dr.: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a new addition to an existing home. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1) A 9 foot variance for rear yard setback, (code requires SOft applicant shows 41ft). <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building, (section 1165.02). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1135.08 A) and (1165.02). <br />Vice Chairman, Maloney called all interested parties forward and reviewed the request. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Hancy, the owner and Mr. Sperli, the builder whom came <br />forward to review the request. Mr. Hancy remarked that the addition was needed as his <br />wife's knees were giving out, so he would like to put the laundry room on the first floor. The <br />addition will also extend the bedroom out to make it even. <br />2
