6. Richard Carnahan; 28504 Alden Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a fence. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 23-foot variance for front building setback of the abutting lot on the side street, ( code <br />requires SOft, and applicant shows 27ft). <br />2. A 3 foot 6-inch variance for height af 56 feet of fence in rear neighbors front setback, <br />(code pernuts 2 ft 6 inch, applicant shows 6ft). <br />3. A variance for 56feet of fence in front setback (rear neighbors) which is under 50% open. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 F-1 & F-2). <br />Vice Chairman, Maloney called all interested parties forward and reviewed the request. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Hobar, with Design Tech. Builders who came forward to review <br />the request. Mr. Hobar indicated that the applicants wanted a privacy fence high enough to be <br />able to have guest on the patio without being seen from the right of way. No further <br />comments were made. <br />J. Konold motioned to approve Richard Carnahan of 28504 Alden Dr. his request for variance <br />(1123.12). Which consists of a fence and that the following variances be granted: <br />l. A 23-foot variance for front building setback of the abutting lot on the side street, ( code <br />requires 50 ft, and applicant shows 27ft). <br />2. A 3 foot 6-inch.variance for height of 56 feet of fence in rear neighbors front setback, <br />(code permits 2 ft 6 inch, applicant shows 6ft). <br />3. A variance for 56feet of fence in front setback (rear neighbors) which is under 50% open. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.02 F-1 - & F-2). The motion was <br />seconded by, T. Koberna and unanimously approved. Variances Granted. <br />7. Teligent; 25000 Country Club Blvd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of installation of antenna. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />A 1 story height variance for installing an antenna on top of 4'h story, (code requires building <br />to be 5 or more stories, applicant shows antenna on top of 4`h story): <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1151.04 C-1 & B). <br />Vice Chairman, Maloney called all interested parties forward and reviewed the request. The <br />oath was administered.to Mr. Kurlander, with Teligent, and Mr. Wanamaker, with Oxbow <br />Engineering. Mr. Kurlander indicated'that a 24 inch antenna will be placed on top of the <br />building to provide high speed inter net telephone and data service to a business located within <br />the building. Their technology requires that the customers building have an antenna on the <br />rooftop, The antenna wili be set back from the rooftop and painted to blend with the <br />penthouse. No further comments were made. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to approve Teligent of 25000 Country Club Blvd. their request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of installation of an antenna and that the following <br />variance be granted: A 1-story height variance for installing an antenna on top of 4`h story. <br />(Code requires building to be 5 or more stories, applicant shows antenna on top of 4th story). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1151.04 C-1 & B). The motion was seconded <br />by, T. Koberna and unanimously approved. Variance Granted. <br />5
