Mr. Magyar indicated "yes" if he could not receive the variance request. Mr. <br />Gomersall questioned if the Board rejects this variance, will it need a full Planning Commission review_ <br />Mr. Conway indicated that if the proposal is rejected and goes back before Planning Commission, the <br />proposal will have to come back before the Board of Zoning Appeals for variances. Mr. Gomersall <br />indicated that the storage couldn't be seen from Lorain Road and the storage area is on the East End of the <br />building, so the storage won't affect the development on the West End. Mr. Conway indicated that the <br />location that A& J has chosen is the best location to put storage. Mr. Gareau indicated that the area is <br />industrial, so there are like uses there. He commented that A& J is going to expand the employment, the <br />City of North Olmsted has fought for many years to get industry in that area and he would hate to see them <br />leave. Mr. Maloney questioned whether it would be possible to use a concrete block wall instead of the <br />fencing. Mr. Conway suggested the fence could be removed, but not a concrete block wall. Mr. Gomersall <br />questioned if A& J were going to maintain the fence. Mr. Magyar indicated A& J had to go through <br />Harsax's to find out what fence company they should use, so HarsaY would maintain the fence. Mr. <br />Kremzar questioned the snow removal wondering if it would be removed for the truck to be able to pick up <br />the spools. Mr. Magyar indicated that part of their lease fee is snow removal and w-ill discuss it with <br />Harsax's. Mr. Maloney indicated that the storage is not seen from Lorain Road, so it will not be an <br />eyesore. He commented that A& J is trying to do a good job and thinks the variance should be granted. <br />Mr. Conway suggested that if the variance is-granted that the condition is that the use is for A& J Electric <br />Cable only and not be open to further tenants or owners. No further comments were made. s <br />J. Maloney motioned to grant A& J Electric Cable of 31382 Industrial Parktvay their request for variance <br />(1123.12), rvhich consists of a 15' X 50' fence enclosure and that the following variances be granted: <br />l.) A 10 foot variance for side yard setback, (code requires 20ft, applicant shows lOft), section (1145.07). <br />2.) A variance to store empty wooden spools & pallets outside the building, prior to removal by Trash <br />Company. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1145.09 M as amended, that the variance be <br />granted for A& J Electric Cable only and not to future tenants or owners and used for wooden spools and <br />pallets only. The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar and unanunously approved. Variance Granted. <br />8. Moran Tim & Marv; 24805 Arlington Lane: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of adding a three-season room to existing home. <br />The following variance is requested: A 12 foot variance for rear yard setback,- (code requires SOft, <br />applicant shows 38ft). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.08 A). <br />Mr. Gomersall called all interested parties forward to review the variance requested. Todd Alexander from <br />Patio Enclosures catne forward to review the request. Mr. Gomersall inquired if there were any comments <br />or concerns from the Board. No comments were made. <br />J. Konold motioned to grant Tim & Mary Moran; 24805 Arlington Lane their request for variance <br />(1123.12,.which consists of adding a three-season room to e;cisting home and that the following variance be <br />granted: A 12 foot variance for rear yard setback, (code requires SOft, applicant shows 38ft).
