BUII,DING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS'
l. Bennigans Restaurant Bar & Grill: 4824 Crreat Northern Blvd
Proposal consists of parking lot lighting.
Mr. Tallon called all interested parties forward. Mr. Jeffrey Ames, with TRG Development
Services, came forward to review the proposal. Mr. Ames firstly thanked the board for
allowing him to .be heard first at the meeting. Bennigans has been Planning Commission
already, but they forgot to discuss the parking lot lighting. Mr. Ames showed the type of
fixtures they would be using, which was 400-watt metal halide. He explained that as he drove
around the area the lights that they are using look almost exactly like the lights around the
parking lot. They will be 25 feet high. Mr. Tallon questioned why the 450-watt light was
highlighted. Mr. Ames replied that they are only using the 400-watt bulbs. 1VIr. Koeth
questioned if these lights are the same wattage as the rest of the lights in the parking lot. Mr.
Ames replied that he believes that they are using lower wattage bulbs than the parking lot has
currently. The ones there are up at 35 or 40 feet so they must be about 1,000-watt lights. Mr.'
Tallon questioned if there will be light spillage onto the roadways. Mr. Ames explained that the
light goes no further than the new sidewalk that was just put in on Brookpark Rd. Mr. Tallon
questioned if he could back shield any lights facing the two roadways. Mr. Arnes replied that
would be taken caxe of. Mr. Tallon questioned the.total amount of lights. Mr. Ames replied
eleven (11). 1VIr. Tallon questioned if any one had further questions about this proposal. No
further comments were made.
R.
