that the entrances would be on three sides. Mr. Barker indicated it would be taken <br />into consideration and that nothing is set at this time. Mr. Tallon suggested <br />making it safer for customers. Mr. Allan questioned what would determine the <br />use of the existing parking area or has a determination been made. Mr. Rinker <br />indicated that it would be aesthetic and that the Board -would make the <br />deterinination. He indicated that once it is paved, it is paved. The applicants do <br />not want to incur the expense up front for paving. Mr. Barker indicated that the <br />parking is ample without using the landbanked spaces at this time. Mr. Tallon <br />suggested if other parking spaces could be landbanked and the present landbanked <br />area could be used as an entrance. No further comments were made. <br />R. Tallon motioned to recommend Great Northern Mall; PP# 236-09-002 & 003, <br />235-28-001 and 236-14-004 the proposal, which consists of a 270,000 square foot <br />expansion to Great Northern Mall and an area variance request for parking space <br />ratios, resulting from the proposed expansion to the Board of Zoning Appeals to <br />grant the area variance for parking rations. The motion was seconded by K. <br />O'Rourke and unanimously approved. Motion Carriecl. <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />V. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />The Board Members of the Master Plan Review set the next Master Plan Review <br />for July 6, 2000 at 7:30 p.m. and asked the Clerk to send out notices. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mrs. O'Rourke indicated that when Home Depot came through the Boards, she <br />was unhappy about the turn around. She indicated that the turn-around was an <br />accident waiting to happen. Mr. Tallon indicated that his complaint coincides <br />with Mrs. O'Rourke. He indicated that the sidewalks are supposed to remain <br />open, but it is cluttered with products and materials for sale. Mr. Tallon <br />questioned if it was a code violation. Mr. Dubelko recommended taking the issue <br />to Council. Mr. Koeth suggested calling and speaking with the manager of Home <br />Depot first. Mr. Tallon reviewed that one of the conditions was that materials <br />could not be placed out obstructing the sidewalk. Mr. Dubelko indicated that the <br />Ainerican Disability Act that should have a standard as well. <br />Mrs. O'Rourke reviewed the proposal of C& M Street Performance. She wanted <br />the Board to be aware that there are other businesses that are providing the same <br />service of building custom cars to customers specifics, such as A& K Tire. Mr. <br />11
