variance and also what the Architectural Review Board had to recommend in regards to the color
renderings. Mr. Demetor indicated he understand what was expected. Also in the framing of the
motion, NIr. Allan indicated he didn't have any opposition to the portico, but colors still need to be toned down
dramatically and he will suggest that to the Architectural Review Board. Mr. Demetor suggested that they are
going with designs to increase Chi Chi's business by creating interest at the entry. Mr. Tallon commented he
understood where Demetor was coming from, but Chi Chi's doesn't need to attract by being unattractive. Mr.
Demetor questioned if this pronosal was even going to get the approval of the Boards. Mr. Tallon indicated he
couldn't answer that. Mr. Demetor indicated they could totally change the colors if they wanted, but Chi Chi's
doesn't want to fight about this. Mr. Tallon indicated that if you are going with totally opposite colors on the
building, we would like it as mute as possible. Mr. Demetor indicated Chi Chi's went back and generated the
new colors after reviewing last months meetings minutes, and they had two altemating color schemes
developed. 1VIr. Demetor presented the Board with the two separate color elevations, one from last meeting and
the new one for review. Mr. Demetor questioned whether the Architectural Review Board be more receptive to
the color of Tomatillo. The Board Members indicated the Architectural Review Board would definitely be
more accepting of Tomatillo.
IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS:
V. COMIVIUNICATIONS:
Mr. Dubelko discussed with the Board Members several cases that have been finalized or are pending
with the City of North Olmsted Law Department.
VI. CONIlVIITTEE REPORTS:
VII. M1NOR CHANGES:
T. Rymarczyk discussed the minor change of A. J. Electric Cable with Mr. Tallon.
VIII. NEW BUSINESS:
IX. OLD BUSINES S :
Mr. Tallon indicated that he noticed that the Planning Commission didn't have a meeting for the
Master Plan, so the meeting will be scheduled for February 17, 2000. At that time, a new Chairman
will have to be nominated. Mr. Tallon questioned the Clerk as to whether an appointment had been
made to the Tax Incentive Review Housing Council. Mr. Spalding indicated that Mr. Koeth has
volunteered for the position. Mr. Tallon questioned whether that appointment had been added to the
minutes or sent to the Mayor. The Mayor indicated to Mr. Tallon earlier tonight that they need to
nominate 1VIr. Koeth officially, but he thought it had already been done. The Clerk remembered taking
a motion on Mr. Koeth's nomination. Mr. Tallon indicated that the Mayor never received the
minutes, so he would like to have it done tonight. Mr. Tallon suggested they nominate Mr. Koeth
again. Mr. Tallon motioned to place Mr. Koeth on the Tax Incentive Review Housing Council. The
motion was seconded by Mr. Spalding and unanimously approved. Motion Carried.
4
