??-
CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
"TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"
MASTER PLAN
A'IINUTES - JULY 6, 2000
7:30 P.M. IN MAYORS CONFERENCE ROOM
1. ROLL CALL:
The meetin?
PRESENT: -?j?-Q p ?
AB SENT: F,???
H. REVIEW ) vi Ui
2000 Mastei
n.
ichmann, and J. Dubelko.
uilding Department representative.
NUTES: The minutes of March 23,
as written.
III. CONIlVIITTI _--
Discussion was held regarding the review of Dewey Road property for
possible rezoning. It was decided to leave the two parcels in question as
single family residential.
Discussion was held regarding rezoning of parcels on the south side of Lorain
at the North Ridgeville boarder, too a motorist service district use. It was felt
that not enough information was available to make this decision.
Discussion was held regarding the continuing need for recreational land
(green space).
An examination was made of parcels at the West End of the City, previously
recommended for possible rezoning. No decisions were made although it was
felt that additional study was desirable.
It was decided that a professional Planner, who specialized or had a
significant background in determining where recreational land should be
located, should work with the Planning Commission to develop green space
usage. This should be done on a preliminary basis to give us innovative ideas.
Additionally, the City recreational Director should be included in the
planning.
V. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
