ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman, Puzzitiello called the meeting to order at 7:30pm. <br />PRESENT: Chairman, R. Puzzitiello, Board Members, P. Engoglia, R. Klesta <br />and M. Conway. i <br />ALSO PRESENT: Building Commissioner, D. Conway and Clerk of <br />Commissions, D. Rote. <br />ABSENT: Board member, D. Spoerke. <br />II. REVEEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: The minutes of 7une 15, 2000 <br />Board of Building Codes of appeals meeting have been submitted for approval. <br />P. Engoglia motioned to approve the Building Board of Appeals minutes dated <br />7une 15, 2000 as submitted. The motion was seconded by M. Conway and <br />unanimously approved. . <br />II. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />Vladimir Fulmas26804 Chapel Hill Drive: <br />A variance to use the ground master post system to anchor 4-foot fence posts, <br />(code requires cement applicant would like to use Ground Master Post <br />System). This is in violation of section (1369.04 (a) (b) ). <br />Mr. Puzzitiello called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. <br />Vladimir Fulmas, the owner, his son Bill Fulmas, and the following neighbors; <br />Mr. & Mrs. Misiunas, and Mr. Pattwell came forward to review the request. <br />Mr. Puzzitiello questioned if each of the board members had visited the site <br />and questioned if they saw the posts that would be used to secure the fence. <br />Mr. Klesta indicated that the information he received in his packet stated <br />30inch posts are to be used for fences and placed firmly next to the ground. <br />The posts that he saw were not 30inches nor were they placed firmly next to <br />the ground. If the posts were placed deeper in the ground and not just in the <br />soft beds he would have no objections. Mr. Engoglia reviewed two letters that <br />were addressed to the board members. One letter suggested that raw manure <br />was being used in the com-post beds. Mr. Fulmas indicated that he was not <br />using raw manure as it would burn everything. Each of the board members <br />indicated that they saw no manure being used in the beds. Mr. Puzzitiello <br />questioned if there was anyone in the audience that objected to the fence. Mr. <br />& Mrs. Misiunas, neighbors whom came forward submitted a letter for a <br />Westlake neighbor. The Westlake neighbor would like to make sure the land
