ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman, Puzzitiello called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Chairman, R. Puzzitiello, Board members; R. Klesta, P. Engolia and N. Althen. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Asst. Clerk of Commissions, S. Solomon; Asst. Law Director, J. <br />Dubelko; Building Inspectors, T. Rymarczyk, and L. Cifranic. <br />ABSENT: Board member; M. Conway. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1VIs Hanne Boger; Rasmussen Homes <br />Proposal consists of a request to revoke contractors registration in the City of North <br />Olmsted in accordance with section 1317.07. Note: This case was tabled at the November <br />20, 2001 Board of Building Code Appeals meeting. <br />Chairman Puzzitiello called Ms. Boger forward along with the homeowners, Mr. & Mrs. <br />Busony, who were having their home built by 1Vys. Boger's company. Mr. Klesta <br />questioned if Ms. Boger's son who was doing the actual work was present. Ms. Boger <br />indicated that he could not be here because he is out of towri. Mr. Puzzitiello questioned <br />who Sam Riolo is. Ms. Boger replied that Sam Riolo was a ma,son that they had offered to <br />hire to take care of all the problems. The building depa.rtment had asked her to bring in <br />someone independent of her company. There was a m'ix up with Sam Riolo who does their <br />work atid his father wfio is an excavator in Olmsted Township. The Boger's attorney told <br />her that he wasn't acceptable to do the'work, so they halted all operations at the site. Mr. <br />Puzzitiello questioned if her company was a corporation. Ms. Boger replied that they were <br />a corporation. W. Puzzitiello questioned if they were general contractors. Ms. Boger <br />indicated that they are module homebuilders. They have all subcontractors that they work <br />. with. W. Klesta indicatecl that they are the general contractors then. You line up all of the <br />sub trades, and everybody who works on that site to take care of the different stages, you <br />take care of that for the"homeowners. Ms. Boger replied yes, for this particular situation. <br />1V1r. Engolia questioned.who did the brickwork at the site in question. Ms. Boger replied <br />that a company out of Port Clinton, Malorey Constr-uction, poured the_ footer and did the <br />brickwork. Mr. Engolia questioned if they had the foundation plan at this property. Ms. <br />Boger replied yes. All of their plans are provided by Heckman Homes directly. Their <br />engineers draw all of the foundation plans for her company. Mr. Engolia questioned if they <br />took the plans and put the footers in place. Ms. Boger replied conect. W. Engolia <br />questioned if then they came in and put the block up. Ms. Boger replied yes, after it was
