ROLL CAI,L: <br />Acting Chairman Lord called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. <br />1'RESENT: Acting Chairman B. Lord, Board members, G. Corell, L. VanAuken, K. <br />O'Rourke, D. Lind, A. Smeraldi, and M. Davis. <br />ABSENT: C. Kasler and P. Barker.. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINiJTES: The minutes of the L,andmarks Commission <br />meeting held on April 9, 2001 have been submitted for approval. <br />Mrs. I,orcl indicated that last month the board did make elections for Chairperson and Vice <br />Chairperson. It did not reflect in the minutes because it was not on the tape. So, for the <br />record the Vice Chairperson is George Corell and the Chairperson is Betty Lord and the <br />secretary, if and when needed, would be Katie O'Rourke. B. Lord motioned to approve the <br />minutes of April 9, 2001 with this addition. The motion was seconded by G. Corell and <br />unanimously approved. Approved as amended. <br />III. NEW BUSINESS: <br />Mr. & Mrs. Sepic; 25417 Butternut Ridge Rd. <br />Proposal consists of a new roof. <br />Mrs. Lord called all interested parties forward to review the proposal. Nobody came forward <br />to review the proposal. 1VIrs. Lord indicated that usually the board would not even discuss a <br />proposal without the applicant, but this is just for a roof. Mr. Corell indicated that he would <br />like to talk to the owner and find out what color it is going to be. <br />D. L,ind motioned to table Mr. & Mrs. Sepic of 25417 Butternut Ridge Rd. as they were not <br />there to answer the boards questions about the existing roof. The motion was seconded by A. <br />Smeraldi and unanimously approved. Tabled 5/14/01. <br />K. O'Rourke motioned that if Mr. or Mrs. Sepic or their contractor can get a sample shingle <br />to three board members and if all three board members think it is appropriate then they can <br />proceed with the certificate of appropriateness. The motion was seconded by M. Davis and <br />unanimously approved. <br />Eric lZiggs; 26533 Sutternut laidge Rd. <br />Proposal consists of a new roof. <br />Mrs. Lord called' Eric Riggs forward to review the proposal. Mr. Riggs indicated that he <br />simply wants to tear off the old roof and replace it with the same style and color shingles. <br />Mrs. Lord questioned what color it is. Mr. Riggs replied that it is a frost gray. Right now it <br />is kind of fading. He did remove the shingles and gave it to the contractor to try to match as
