?

Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1135.02 C-2 and 1135.02 D-2. The motion was seconded
by T. Kelly and unanimously approved. Granted 8/3/01.
2. Chester Connollv; 3518 Beaumont Dr.
Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of buildin(y a five foot high fence. The following
variances are requested:
1) A 30 inch variance for excess height in a required 50 ft. front setback (code permits 30 inches,
applicant shows 60 inches), section (1135.02 F).
2) A 40 $. variance for violation of the required front setback (code permits 0, applicant shows 40 ft.),
section (1135.02 F-1). 3) A variance for less than 50% open face in a required setback (code requires 50% open, applicant
shows 0(board on board)), section (1135.02 F-1).
Note: The house is constructed on a corner lot, facing Beaumont, while the actual fifty foot front setback
faces Amesbury.
Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1135.02 F, and 1135.02 F-1.
Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath was administered
to Chester Connolly, the owner, who came forward to review the request. Mr. Connolly indicated that
right now he is putting on a two-car garage on the other side of the home. That eliminates all the yard
space that he had on that side of the house. He has five small children, so he wanted to put a shadowbox
fence on the other side of the house. It will run from the end of the house down 40 feet. That leaves 11
feet from where the fence stops to the sidewalk. The fence will connect to the front of the house. Mr.
Maloney questioned if he cleaned out some bushes and shrubs there. Mr. Connolly replied that he had to
take them out last year. Mr. Koberna indicated that he lives around there and 1VIr. Connolly has made
major improvements to the property. Mr. Kremzar questioned the neighbor's tree. Mr. Connolly
indicated that there was plenty of room. The tree is probably a good 5 feet from the property line. The
board had no further comments. Mr. Maloney called for a motion.
W. Kremzar motioned to grant Chester Conriolly of 3518 Beaumont Dr. his request for variance
(1123.12). Which consists of building a five foot high fence and that the following variances are granted:
1) A 30 inch variance for excess height in a required 50 ft. front setback (code permits 30 inches,
applicant shows 60 inches), section (1135.02 F).
2) A 40 ft. variance for violation of the required front setback (code permits 0, applicant shows 40 ft.),
section (1135.02 F-1).
90-125 section, 1135.02 F, and 1135,02 F-1. The motion
was seconded by T. Koberna and unanimously approved. Granted 8/3/01.
3. Eric Gonzales; 5795 Wellesley Ave.
Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of storing a recreational vehicle (boat) in the front
driveway. The following variance is requested:
1) A variance for storing a boat in the front driveway of the house (code permits a period of time which
does not exceed seventy-two hours within a consecutive twenty-one day period, applicant shows
indefinite period), section (1135.02 H-3).
Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1135.02 H-3.
Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request.
