Kremzar motioned to grant Jeffrey Linden of 5520 Bradley Rd. his request for variance (1123.12). <br />Which consists of a new home and that the following variance be granted: <br />A 5.9 foot variance for rear yard setback, (code requires 50 ft., applicant shows 44.1 ft.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.08 A). The motion was seconded by T. Kelly and <br />unanimously approved. Vae-iance Ga-anted 7/05/01. <br />12. Bed Bath & Bevond25975 Great Northern Shopping Center: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a sign. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 25 square foot variance for maximum square footage per building unit, (code permits 199 sq. ft., <br />applicant shows 224 sq. ft.), section (1163.24 C). <br />2. A 124 square foot variance for maximum sign face area per building, (code permits 100 sq. ft., <br />applicant shows 224 sq. ft.), section (1163.27 C). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections, (1163.24 C) and (1163.27 C). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath was administered <br />to Jim Blair with Developers Diversified, and Craig Stephens with Dorsky & Hodgson Architects, whom <br />both came forward to review the request. Mr. Blair indicated that HomePlace is going out of business <br />and they cut a deal with Bed Bath & Beyond to take over the space and in order for them to take that <br />place they need their sign. Therefore, that is why they are present. Mr. Koberna questioned what the <br />actual size of the Iettering was. Mr. Stephens indicated that the letters are 4 ft. high by 56 ft. long. Mr. <br />Koberna indicated that he really did not have a problem as the board had been over this before with the <br />strip mall signs. Mr. Maloney called for a motion. <br />J.
