. <br />? <br />J. Konold motioned to grant Thomas Rogal of 29555 Bretton Ridge Rd. their request for variance <br />(1123.12). Which consists of a shed and that the following variance be granted: <br />A 1 foot 8 inch variance for side lot line setback, (code requires 5 ft., applicant shows 3 ft. 4 in.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.02 d-4). The motion was seconded by W. Kremzar <br />and unanimously approved. Vaa-iance Granted 7/5/01. <br />10. Hollvwood Cleaners; 30771 Lorain Road: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of re-facing a non-conforining sign. <br />The following variance is required: <br />A variance to reface a non-confornung sign which constitutes a change of use-video store to dry cleaners, <br />(code requires sign be brought into compliance). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1163.10 <br />C). Note: 1. Pole sign is 17 feet high- maximum height for a ground sign is 12 feet. <br />2.Total sign face of sign is 39 square feet, maximum sign face allowable for a ground sign is 50 square <br />feet. 3. Sign face for requested insert is 14.4 square feet. <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath was administered <br />to Frank Incorvaia, the owner, who came forward to review the request. Mr. Maloney indicated that the <br />applicant wanted to replace a sign panel and questions if they could just cut the pole down to 5 foot to <br />come into compliance. Mr. Incorvaia explained that they are trying to do this as inexpensively as possible <br />as they are just starting out. He is sure they can do that in the future if it would be allowed now. It is not <br />unattractive or anything. Mr. Konold commented that it was not unattractive and has been in place for a <br />long time. Mr. Kremzar questioned if he owned the pole sign. Mr. Incorvaia explained that he owned <br />the property. He would work with the City in the future to get the sign to come down a little because he <br />knows the City has been pushing that for years. Mr. Gareau indicated that he owned both businesses. It <br />would be nice to get the video sign down because there is no more video store. He does own the <br />beverage store and the Hollywood Cleaners, so he has both businesses in one location. Mr. Incorvaia <br />indicated that he is there seven days a week. Mr. Maloney questioned if the board members had any <br />further comments. He called for a motion. <br />T. The proposal consists of a new home. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />A 5.9 foot variance ior rear yard setback, (code requires 50 ft., applicant shows 44.1 ft.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, (1135.08 A). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath was administered <br />to Jeffrey Linden, the owner, and Jeff Budzowski, the builder, whom both came forward to review the <br />request. Mr. Budzowski explained that they are building a sunroom, but it really is a year round room. It <br />will exceed the setback line by 5.9 ft. The entire footprint of the house pretty much fills the building <br />envelope area between the 50 ft. front and rear setbacks. The only logical place to put this sunroom is on <br />6
