and the height of the shed will be under 1 lfeet. It will sit on piers with stone underneath.
He is a remodeling carpenter and needs the shed to store all of his tools. The siding will
match his home. Mr. Glessman is concerned about what the shed will house. If it is kept
clean, he does not have a problem with what he is requesting. Mr. Palcisko does not
have a problem with the sheds size. Mr. Glessman voiced his concerns about the shape
the sheds are in, in the area once they are built.
J. Konold motioned to grant Barry Dargush of 24385 Palm Dr. his request for variance
(1123.12). Which consists of an over-sized shed and that the following variance be
granted: A 62-sq. ft. variance for over-sized shed (code permits 106 sq. ft., applicant
shows 168 sq. ft.). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1135.02 D-1. The
motion was seconded by W. Kremzar and unanimously approved. Varnance Granted.
2. Thomas Feser; 4603 Porter Rd.
Request for variance (1123.12). the proposal consists of addition to front of existing
dwelling. The following variance is requested:
1. A 4 foot front yard variance for required front yard set back (code permits 50 feet,
applicant shows 46 feet). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section, 1135.06.
Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The oath
was administered to Mr. Feser, Ms. Flick, the owners and Mr. Schneider, a neighbor.
Mr. Schneider reviewed that he was present to view the plans. He would just like to
make sure it will fit into the neighborhood. Mr. Kremzar is concern about the windows
being blocked. Mr. Konold suggested it did not bother him. Mr. Maloney questioned the
size of the tree in the front yard. Mr. Feser indicated that the tree would remain in place
and be about 20 feet from the addition. The road has a twist and a land surveyor has
plotted the lot to make sure it will fit. As the cost of the addition is going to run about
50,000, he would like the extra footage for an entrance area. Mr. Kremzar questioned
how far it would extend. Mr. Feser is just looking to improve the look of the home to fit
better into the neighborhood. Mr. Schneider is concerned about the look of the new
addition against the old. Mr. Maloney believes that the addition will improve the Iook of
the area.
J. Konold motioned to grant Thomas Feser of 4603 Porter Rd his request for variance
(1123.12). Which consists of an addition to front of existing dwelling and that the
following variance be granted: A 4-foot front yard variance for required front yard set
back (code requires 50 feet, applicant shows 46 feet). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-
125 section, 1135.06. The motion was seconded by T. Koberna and unanimously
approved. Variance Granted.
3. Alan Siegmyer; 3551 Columbia Rd.
Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a garage addition. The
following variance is requested:
2
