Mr. Yager suggested that anything he feels is <br />right would probably work. The boards charge to him is that the side of this building needs more <br />life. He questioned if it doesn't seem odd that there are no windows down the side. Mr. Ports <br />indicated that they have asked Kronheims and they say that they do not want them. Ms. Schulz <br />questioned how the height of the new elevation fits in with what is there now. Mr. Ports suggested <br />that it would be a step type elevation that is equal to the elevations on the right side of the entrance <br />sign. Mr. Yager questioned if they could relocate the rooftop units so that they are working off of <br />and behind where you have the stepped up Kronheims fagade. Mr. Ports replied they would try to <br />do that. Mr. YaDer suggested that should always be an attempt. Mr. Zergott called for a motion. <br />M. Yager motioned to approve Kronheims Furniture of 5198 Great Northern Plaza-South as <br />submitted with the following comments/recommendations: 1) A landscaping plan is to be brought to B. Zergott for his review and comment. <br />2) Some lights (4) be added on the pilasters below the Kronheims sign on the south elevation. <br />3) Consideration that the existing canopies and metal framework be incorporated into the south <br />fagade to add some dimension. (Discretion of architect. If canopies cannot be re-used the <br />architect is to submit a revised elevation plan for either T. Liggett or M. Yager to review and <br />comment on.) <br />4) The rooftop units are to be shielded from public view. <br />The motion was seconded by T. Liggett and was unanimously approved. <br />VI.
