".,f - ' ti
that didn't happen. Mr. Liggett cotnmented that there is a simple place for them to go to that
complimented that rounded area and it is probably segmented, but it comes off as being a rounded
type of feature. The two additions that went on to St. Richard's Church compliment each other
well. The two wings that came off to the side, they're rounded metal roofs that just go up to the
corner. It is so elegantly done, but it is such a simple feature. 5omething like that could make this
all tie together.. Mr. Liggett indicated that it will be a nice structure, there's no doubt about that. It
is nicely done, but it just hasn't gone far enough yet and with the comments they've made they have
Diven enough recommendations that if they choose to go that route, the City is going to be happier
with it. Mr. Zergott questioned if this will go back to Planning Commission. Mr. Rymarczyk
replied that it has already been to Planning Commission and will not have to return. Mr. Zergott
explained that is the reason this board needs to make a decision or they put it back on Planning
Commission's docket. Mr. Liggett replied that he doesn't think that this board needs to solve their
problems. There are a lot of people who would be happy to see this go up and be done with. He
doesn't believe that this will be an eyesore. Ms. Schulz questioned how they would be accessing
the rooftop units. Mr. Bauschard replied that they would have to use ladders. They might be
putting a hatch in, but probably not. Ms. Schulz indicated that if it were her building she wouldn't
want people walking on the shingle roofs three or four times a year. Mr. Ligaett recommended
that they make some kind of motion.
T. Liggett motioned to approve Springvale Clubhouse addition of 5871 Canterbury Rd. with the
following recommendations:
1) The landscaping be reviewed by B. Zergott to incorporate more flowering towards more of the
middle part of the summer.
2) Using the new structure, compliment the barrel vault. Whether it be reconfiguring the pro shop
or main eating area structure. .
3) Resolve how the roofs connect to the existing toilet facility.
The motion was seconded by K. Schulz. Roll call on the motion; J. Nader, T. Liggett, and K.
Schulz, "yes". B. Zergott, "no". Motion Carried 8/9/01.
VI. ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Zergott adjourned the meeting at 7:00pm.
a
1- Q
Brian Zergott, Chairman

Shaun Solomon, Asst. Clerk of Commissions
5
