The only thing that is being added to this building that is not on any <br />other is a dry stack stone which is being placed around the base of the columns and the base of the <br />building. 'I'he east side of the site will only have a partial stone addition. Mr. Yager questioned if <br />it would be a natural stone used or a manufactured stone. Mr. Kephart indicated that it would be a <br />manufactured culture stone dry face. There is lattice detail as well as columns on this building <br />that were not used on the existing buildings. There will be divided lights in the windows, the roof <br />is the same as the roofs on the existing homes. Mr. Zergott questioned if there was a dumpster <br />area on the site and if there is, where is it located. Mr. Kephart was not sure and Mr. Wharton <br />indicated that there was currently a dumpster on the site that they would use. Mr. Zergott <br />questioned if the dumpster area was a closed in area. Mr. Kephart indicated that the dumpster site <br />would be enclosed. Mr. Yager suggested berming/slopping the handi cap entrance naturally <br />instead of using walls. Mr. Kephart suggested that they might not need the ramp. Mr. Conway <br />agreed that the ramp could be deleted. 1VTr. Yager questioned where the mechanical equipment <br />would be located. Mr. Kephart suggested that the air conditioning equipment would be located <br />outside along the east berm. Mr. Yager suggested placing the mechanical equipment on the east <br />side of the building, and buffering them with landscaping. He further questioned what types of air <br />vents were used on the existing homes. Mr. Kephart indicated that they had not thought of what <br />type of air vents would be used, but they will be on the east side of the building. Ms. Schizlz <br />questioned why the stone did not go across the entire east side of the building. Mr. Kephart <br />suggested that orily part of the east side would be seen, so the stone will be gradually ended. Mr. <br />Zergott suggested using more landscaping (evergreens) on east side. He questioned if there <br />would be any signage on the building. Mr. Kephart suggested that there would be two small <br />directional signs. Both of the signs will be 36 inches tall for directional proposes orily. Mr. <br />Wharton reviewed that the N.O.G.A. is a charitable organization and reviewed what type of work <br />and tournaments they have. Mr. Yager questioned what type of lighting would. be used on the <br />building. Mr. Kephart suggested that there would be three (3) eight (8) foot pole lights to light <br />the walkway and under the ceiling of the porch there will be recessed lights to light the path. Mr. <br />Zergott questioned the hours of operation. IVIr. Wharton indicated that the building would be <br />open 9:00am to 6:00pm. Mr. Zergott inquired if the outside lights would remain on at night. Mr. <br />Kephart indicated that the lights would reinain on at night by the front and back doors, Mr. <br />Conway indicated that the applicants would need to make sure the residents are buffered from the <br />liahts. Ms. Schulz questioned if the applicants had met with the residents or the homeowners <br />association. 1VIr. VVharton reviewed that they had met with the residents and addressed the <br />concerns they voiced. Mr. Yager questioned if there was a dumpster site for the building. Mr. <br />Wharton indicated that they would just use the existing dumpster that is in place now. <br />B. Zergott motion to approve North Olmsted Golf Association of 5840 Canterbury IZoad their <br />proposal that consists of constructing a golf 3,500 square foot Office/iVluseum building. With the <br />following comments; 1. Make sure the dumpster area is addressed. 2..Make sure the new handi <br />cap ramp is shown on new plans for Mr. Yager's approval. Chairman Zergott will review the <br />landscaping plans that were submitted and comments will be made accordingly. The. motion was <br />seconded by K. Schulz and unanimously approved. Motioned Carreed. <br />VI. ADJOURNMENT: <br />Chairman Zergott announced that the Architectural Review Board would take the month of <br />August as vacation.
