ROLL CALL: Chairman, Zergott called the meeting to order at 5:35pm. <br />PRESENT: Chairman, Zergott, Board members; J. Nader, K. Schulz, and T. <br />Liggett. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Assistant Building Commissioner, T. Rymarczyk and Asst. <br />Clerk of Commissions,. S. Solomon. <br />ABSENT: Board member; M. Yager. <br />R. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF NIlNUTES: The Architectural Review Board <br />minutes for Special meeting of April 4, 2001 and regular meeting of April 18, 2001 <br />have been submitted for approval. <br />T. Liggett motioned to approve the special meeting minutes of April 4, 2001 as <br />written. The motion was seconded by B. Zergott. Roll call on the motion: <br />Zergott, Nadar, and Liggett; yes, Schulz; abstain. Motion Carried. <br />K. Schulz motioned to approve the Architectural Review Board minutes dated <br />April 18, 2001 with one minor grammatical change. The motion was seconded by <br />J. Nadar and unanimously approved. 1dIotion Carried. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />N. OLD BUSINESS: <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1. Lorain Point Building; 24693 Lorain Rd. <br />The proposal consists of an addition to existing office building. <br />Note: Planning Coinmission reviewed this proposal on 3/13/01 and 4/24/01 at which <br />time lot consolidation was approved. Board ofZoning Appeals granted variances on <br />5/3/Ol. <br />Chairman 7ergott called all interested parties forward to review the proposal. Andy <br />Riiel, the architect, was present to review the proposal. IV1i-. Riiel indicated that <br />they are proposing a two-story addition on the existing doctor office at 24693 <br />Lorain Rd. The building is located behind Waxman's Carpet and they have <br />demolished the office building to the west of them and plan to use that area for <br />a.dditional parking. The two lots are combined. The main purpose for the addition <br />is because the doctor would like an elevator for handicapped patients. The addition <br />will provide for a larger waiting area and larger business office areas. They plan on <br />using the existing materials to match the rest of the building as closely as possible. <br />Existing materials are wood siding and asphalt shingles. Mr. Liggett questioned if <br />he had matched the color of the building. Mr. Riiel indicated that the closest he <br />could get was the Sherwin Williams silon creme color. They would be using fiber
