2. A.5 foot variance for rear yard setback (code requires 50 ft., applicant shows 49.5 ft.), section ' <br />(1135.08 (a)). <br />Note: Lot is to be restored to its original arrangement. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1118.02 (c)), (1135.05 (a)(3)), and <br />(1135.08 (a)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Ken McGough came <br />forward to be sworn in. Mr. Maloney mentioned the board received a note from the Planning <br />Commission recommending that the variances for the two lots be granted. <br />W. Kreinzar made a motion to grant North Olmsted Assembly of God of 3874 Columbia Rd. and 3882 <br />Columbia Rd. the request for yariance (1123.12), which consists of an approved lot split and that the <br />following variances be granted: <br />1. A 13 foot variance for parking setback (code requires 20 ft., applicant shows 7 ft.), section <br />(1118.02 (c)). <br />3882 Columbia Road: <br />1. A 4.98 foot variance for depth of lot (code requires 135 ft., applicant shows 130.2 ft.), section <br />(1135.05 (a)(3)). <br />2. A.5 foot variance for rear yard setback (code requires 50 ft., applicant shows 49.5 ft.), section <br />(1135.08 (a)). <br />Note: Lot is to be restored to its original arrangement. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1118.02 (c)), (1135.05 (a)(3)), and <br />(1135.08 (a)). The motion was seconded by J. Maloney and unanimously approved. Variances <br />Granted. <br />18. BP Amoco: 23425 Lorain Rd. (36'RD 2 <br />j <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of new signage. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A variance for 3 island canopy signs (code permits 0; applicant shows 3). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.25). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Carl Bainer came <br />forward to be sworn in. Mr. Bainer indicated there are presently 2 illuminated signs on the canopy at <br />the site. The BP has been re-imaged and they want to replace those 2 signs with the new logo which <br />would be illuminated. They would like to add a non-illuminated sign on the ease side of the canopy. <br />There was further discussion about the signs at the Shell station also on the corner of Clague and <br />Lorain. <br />J. Konold made a motion to grant BP Atnoco of 23425 Lorain Rd. the request for variance (1123.12), <br />which consists of new signage and that the following variance be granted: <br />1. A variance for 3 island canopy signs (code permits 0, applicant shows 3). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.25). The motion was seconded by N. Sergi and <br />unanimously approved. Variance Granteei. <br />IV. CONIMUNICATIONS: <br />V.
