Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1118.02 (c)), (1135.05 (a)(3)), and (1135.08 (a)). Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Ken McGough came forward to be sworn in. Mr. Maloney mentioned the board received a note from the Planning Commission recommending that the variances for the two lots be granted. W. Kreinzar made a motion to grant North Olmsted Assembly of God of 3874 Columbia Rd. and 3882 Columbia Rd. the request for yariance (1123.12), which consists of an approved lot split and that the following variances be granted: 1. A 13 foot variance for parking setback (code requires 20 ft., applicant shows 7 ft.), section (1118.02 (c)). 3882 Columbia Road: 1. A 4.98 foot variance for depth of lot (code requires 135 ft., applicant shows 130.2 ft.), section (1135.05 (a)(3)). 2. BP Amoco: 23425 Lorain Rd. (36'RD 2 j Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of new signage. The following variance is requested: 1. A variance for 3 island canopy signs (code permits 0; applicant shows 3). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.25). Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Carl Bainer came forward to be sworn in. Mr. Bainer indicated there are presently 2 illuminated signs on the canopy at the site. The BP has been re-imaged and they want to replace those 2 signs with the new logo which would be illuminated. They would like to add a non-illuminated sign on the ease side of the canopy. There was further discussion about the signs at the Shell station also on the corner of Clague and Lorain. J. Konold made a motion to grant BP Atnoco of 23425 Lorain Rd. the request for variance (1123.12), which consists of new signage and that the following variance be granted: 1. A variance for 3 island canopy signs (code permits 0, applicant shows 3). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.25). The motion was seconded by N. Sergi and unanimously approved.
