The proposal consists of installing a wall sign. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 46.2 square fovt variance for wall sign larger than the building frontage allows (code permits <br />38 square feet, applicant shows 84.2 square feet), section (1163.24 (c)). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1163.24 (c)). <br />Chairman Maloney ca,lled all interested parkies forward to review their request. Mr. Sidlo, with <br />Boyer Signs came forward to be sworn in and address the request. Mr. Sidlo indicated that there <br />is a sign in place now and the hardship is for the design of the logo. The cade only allvws 38- <br />squaxe feet. Because of the descended letter (g) and the ascended letter (L) in tha sign the square <br />footage calculates larger. Cort Furniture- 4698 Crreat Northern Blvd.: (WiZD 4) <br />Request far variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of erecting a temporary tent. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A variance for 15 car parking reduction, seetian (1161.05 (w)). <br />Whi.ch is in violation of Ord. 90-I25 section (1161.05 (w)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review their request. After a period of <br />time waiting for a representative to come forward Mr. Rymarczyk questioned if the board could <br />address the proposal. Assistant Law Director, Mr. O'Malley indicated that there was no reason <br />they couldn't. Mr. Rymarczyk reviewed that the applicant wanted a temporary tent for two <br />separate weekends, which will cause the 15 parking space reduction. Mr. Maloney questioned <br />what dates the variances wauld be needed. <br />W. Krem2aar motioned to grant Cort Furniture of 4698 Great Northern Blvd, their request for <br />variance (1123.12), which consists of erecting a temporary tent and that the following variance is <br />granted as amended: <br />1. A variance for 15 car parking reduetion, which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1151.05 <br />(w)) from 6/3/02 through 6/10/02 then again on 9/9/02 through 9/16/02. The motion was <br />seconded by J. Konold and unanimously approved. Variances Granted. <br />IV.
