Mr. & Mrs. <br />Kilbourne, the owners, and Mr. Jack, the contractor, came forward to be sworn in and review the <br />request. Mr. Kilbourne indicated that the reason they wanted the addition was to accommodate an ill <br />relative that will be coming to live with them. Mr. Kremzar indicated that there was an existing shed <br />on the parcel and questioned if it would require an additional variance. Mr. Rymarczyk indicated that <br />the applicants would need an additional variance for exceeding the rear yard coverage. He further <br />commented that the plans that had been submitted did not show an existing shed. No further <br />comments were made. <br />J. Konold motioned to grant James & Patricia Kilbourne of 5906 Columbia Road their request for <br />variance (1123.12). Which consists of an addition to rear of dwelling and that the following variances <br />are granted as amended: <br />1. A 20 foot variarice for rear .yard setback (code requires 50 ft, applicant shows 30 ft), section <br />(1135.08 (a)). 2. A 67 square foot variance for rear yard coverage (code allows 53.7 sq. ft applicant shows 120 sq. <br />ft), section (1135.02 (d) (1). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 sections (1135.08 (a)) and (1135.02 (d) (1)). The motion was <br />seconded by J. Konold and unanimously approved. Variances Granted. <br />3. Matt English 5009 East Park Drive: <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of installing a second shed <br />The following variances are requested: <br />l. A variance for an additional shed located in rear yard (code permits 1, applicant shows Z). <br />2. A 120 square foot variance for additional square footage for accessory storage buildings (code <br />permits 200 sq. ft., applicant shows 320 sq. ft.). <br />Note: Existing shed is 140 square feet, proposed shed is 180 square feet. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (d)). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review their request. Mr. English, the <br />owner, came forward to be sworn in and review his request. Mr. English suggested that there was <br />not enough room in his home for storage as there is no basement. The garage was so overloaded <br />with kid's bikes, toys, lawnmower and tools that he could not park his car in the garage. IVIr. Kelly <br />questioned the where-abouts of the two sheds. Mr. English commented that the company informed <br />him that he would no longer be able to purchase the shed size he requested as it was discontinued. <br />The next size he could purchase is 10' x 20' by 10' high. Therefore, he would need his variance <br />changed. <br />W. Kremzar motioned to grant Matt English of 5009 East Park Drive his request for variance <br />(1123.12).
