? <br />Lind will let the board know if he can attend a session. Chairman Lord said if anyone else can attend <br />since some sessions are on Saturday, let her know. <br />• Ohio Historical Society Local Government Records Program brochure - Mrs. Lord asked if anyone <br />had read the information. She does not thinlc it relates to them much. They do not receive much in <br />the way of electronic records but if anyone wants to attend, there is a session on April 2"d at the <br />Western Reserve. <br />• The Alliance Review - Mrs. Lord asked if anything should be discussed from this publication. Mrs. <br />VanAuken said it's a wonderful building oi1 the front cover. She brought up some of the history of <br />the building. <br />Mrs. Lord asked if there was other correspondence. Mrs. O'Rourke said in going through her <br />paperwork, she found a MetroScan property profile of the Grace Fellowship Church. She is not <br />certain why she has it. She said it.lists the sale price as $325,000. The loan amount was $2,440. <br />Mrs. Lord said it could be added to their existing infonnation. Mrs. O'Rourke said its states the land <br />use, 6850, exempts churches. She asked if that means someone has found the deed. NIrs. Davis <br />indicated that is where it.is filed. Mrs. Lord reminded the board members that if they find something <br />on a property, there are individual files by address. 5he added if anyone comes across something that <br />they don't have an address for, then they will make a file so that if someone comes before them with a <br />Butternut Ridge house that isn't an old house, they're still inaking a file at that address and putting in <br />that information. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: Mrs. Lord asked Mr. Barker to share his information on the budget. Mr. <br />Corell joined the board for the remainder of the ineeting. Mr. Barker proceeded to present the figures <br />for the budget. He said date strips for home plaques were listed at 5 for $35, for a total of $210. <br />Plaques would be 5 at $150 each, totaling $750. He said last year the board talked about sending <br />letters to residents in the Landmarks District, and they have $300 set aside for that. Various <br />memberships are listed at $200. The research and archival expense is $300. Repair and maintenance <br />for the projector and camera is $125. The conference expense is listed at $500.. The slide collection is <br />$100. Mr. Barker added that in the conversation with Mr. Copeland at the last meeting, a computer <br />replacement expense was discussed and it is listed at $500. It should be a joint expense between <br />Landmarks and Human Resources. The grand total comes to $2, 985. Mr. Barker asked for <br />comments, suggestions, changes, or additions. Mrs. VanAuken asked if the Council goes over all the <br />budgets line by line. Mr. Barker said they will see $2,985 for Landmarks and they may ask about it <br />since they (the Administration) subinitted a$600 budget. Mrs. Lord said that could just be an interim <br />budget. Mrs. O'Rourke asked if the board submitted any bills; have they used anything of the last <br />budget. Mrs. Lord indicated what was subinitted was mainly for publications. She added, given the <br />fact we are heading toward the bicentennial, there are some expenses that could be related to that. <br />They know the coinputer is needed. Mrs. O'Rourke said she thinks the mailing to the residents is <br />important too. Mrs. Lord said it needs to be put on the agenda as something to work on. Mrs. <br />O'Rourke moved that they submit the budget as written. Mrs. Davis seconded the motion. <br />Unanimously approved. Mrs. Lord said it will be the budget they submit to D. Rote. <br />Mr. Corell apologized for being late. Mrs. Lord said that Mr. Lind had passed around a lot of the <br />digital pictures taken a year ago. He has now printed them and has them ready to file. Mrs. Lord <br />asked Mr. Lind if it includes all of the discs to which Mr. Lind replied yes. He added he intends to put <br />them on a CD. There was discussion about a home at Fitch and Butternut. Mr. Corell said he spoke <br />with the gentleman re-doing the stone house on Porter who indicated he would be more than happy to <br />3
