Mr. Smeal, the owner, <br />and Mr. Pidcock with Tin Point Builders each came forward to be sworn in and address the request. <br />Mr. Smeal indicated that the new entrance would cover the stoop leading to the front door of his <br />home. The new entrance to the house is needed to sheltered visitors from the weathering elements. <br />By having the entrance extend over the entrance stoop, the pillars can be placed between the stoop and <br />the sidewalk. <br />T. Kelly motion to approve Tom Smeal of 24440 South Ogford Oval their request for variance <br />(1132.12) which consists of a entrance porch addition and that the following variance is granted: <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building, section (1165.02). <br />1. A 3 foot variance for sideyard setback requirements, (code requires 25', applicant shows <br />22'). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.06 (B)). <br />J. Maloney seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Variance Granted. <br />Craig Brabander, 6688 Cvqress Drive, WRD 3 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a pool deck addition. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 120 square foot variance for exceeding 20% rear yard coverage (code permits 912 sq. ft., <br />applicant shows 1032 sq. ft.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (d)(2)). Mr. Brabander indicated that he was <br />granted a permit for the one section of the deck but he would like to have an area to put lawn furniture <br />on the deck. The deck width will be 1/2 the diameter of the pool and include railing. Mr. Kelly <br />questioned the dimensions of the deck. Mr. Barbander reviewed the measurements of the deck. <br />Mrs. Sergi questioned if the condenser was going to be moved. Mr. Barbander suggested that the <br />condenser had already been moved. <br />W.
