<br />Proposal consists of new exterior improvements, new masonry covered entrance to the existing Top's building to <br />accommodate a post secondary school. K. Schulz motion to approve the plan on the building and the lighting as <br />submitted and to hold off on approval on flie landscaping plan until further review by the Architectural Review <br />Board. The proposal will return to the Architectural Review Board. The motion was seconded by J. Nader and <br />unatumously approved. Tabled 7/16/03 <br />Westfield Shopping Center (Great Northern Malp; PP# 236-09-002 <br />Proposal is to eapand the north side of the center to include Galyan's. <br />M. Yager made a motion to table the proposal until the continuance meeting on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. <br />prior to and with a recommendation to the Plaimuig Commission meeting at 7:30. The motion was seconded by J. <br />Nader and unanimously approved. Tabled 7/16/03 <br />AutoZone, Inc 24250 Lorain Rd., PP#231-31-005 <br />The proposal consists of construction of a one-story masonry building and associated site work. M. Yager motion to <br />table the proposal and allow the applicant to go back and review the design and the site, and come back with a full <br />submission to include existing photos and an application showing the materials. They need to bring the appropriate <br />materials, real blocks and not painted block. He said they need to look at the mechanical systems and show where <br />they will be and how they will be screened. They also need to show the dumpster wall matching the material on flie <br />fagade. The motion was seconded by K. Schulz and unanimously approved. Tabled 7/16/03 <br />JULY 22, 2003 <br />ReminQ(on College; 2635 Great Northern Shopping Center: <br />Proposal consists of new exterior improvements, new masonry covered entrance to the existing Top's building to <br />accommodate a post secondary school. M. Yager motion to approve the Remington College proposal as presented <br />widi the following condition: 1). They have to coordinate with Galyan's and any other parcels along Brookpark <br />Road all flie landscaping, mounding, and berming treatment. 2). The mounds are to be built as high as possible. 3). <br />They are to provide more perennials for salt management. 4). The pole height is to match the adjacent parcels. 5). <br />The forester is to review the west and southwest planting program and coordinate the landscaping design <br />accordingly. The motion was seconded by B. Zergott and unanimously approved. Approved 7/22/03 <br />Westfield Shopping Center (Great Northeru 1VIa11); PP# 236-09-002 <br />Proposal is to expand flie north side of the center to include Galyan's. <br />M. Yager made a motion to accept the proposal as presented wifli the following recommendations: 1). The berms <br />and mounds along Brookpark Road are to be as high and monumental as possible and coordinated with the rest of <br />the center. 2). A decorafive metal gate is to be described and designed and submitted to the city for approval. The <br />motion was seconded by K. Schulz and unanimously approved. Approved 7/22/03 <br />AUGUST 20, 2003 <br />"NO MEETING, VACATION MONTH" <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 2003 <br />AutoZone, Inc., 24250 Lorain Rd.. PP#231-31-005 <br />The proposal consists of construction of a one-story masonry building and associated site work. <br />M. Yager made a motion to approve the proposal as presented with the condition that the applicant reinoves the <br />lights from the rear fagade. The motion was seconded by J. Nader and unarumously approved. Approved 9/17/03 <br />OCTOBER 22, 2003 <br />"MEETING CANCELED AS NO CASES PENDING" <br />NOVEMBER 19, 2003 <br />Carnegie Management & Development Corporation, Parcel E: (WRD 4) <br />The proposal consists of approximately 211,000 square feet of multiple family housing which includes an 86,000 <br />square foot garage and approximately 211,000 square feet of retail space spread over four (4) buildings and a below <br />grade parking garage. Note: The Plaiuiing Commission approved the preliminary land use on May 27, 2003. <br />Variances are required and structures have been relocated from the original preluninary plan. Tabled 11-19-03 <br />Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins; PP# 237-09-005 (Clauge Road: (WRD 2) <br />Proposal consists of construction of a new Dunkin Donuts/ Baskin Robbins Retail building. <br />J. Crook motion that the building elevations be modified such that the merlot brick is at the taller pylon elements and <br />it replaces flie horizontal banding on the north and south side of the last three bays.
