!e
n •?
t?
the Records Commission. He said she has a notebook with the state procedures for archives and he will
touch base with her again. He said he had asked to be involved in the record storage process because
somewhere in the charter, Landmarks is mentioned as an archive. Mr. Lang said he now is not only
concerned about a two-drawer file cabinet, but the basement of Old Town Hall. He said no one has come
forth to mention anything about it. Mr. O'Malley said that traditionally the Service Director is in charge
of the buildings and controls access to the basement. He said from what he understands the basement is
in better condition than it used to be. He said Landmarks will have a difficult time discharging its duty
when day-to-day, week-to-week, every department is trying to tackle its own issues with regard to
records. Mr. Lang said he will talk with Mrs. Purper again, and speak to the Service Director, as he needs
a key to the baseinent which is the Landmarks archives.
Mr. O'Malley brought up the rules of procedure and said he drafted a couple of additional suggestions.
He invited the board members to look them over. Mr. Barker said the board can set aside time at the next
meeting to discuss the rules of procedure, since Mr. O'Malley had to leave the meeting.
VII. ADJOURNIVENT: Chairman Lang adjourned the meeting at 8:10 p.m.
? 121S103 ce_ (
Joe a, Chairma Date Annie Kilbane,
stant Clerk of Commissions
