He said he had asked to be involved in the record storage process because <br />somewhere in the charter, Landmarks is mentioned as an archive. Mr. Lang said he now is not only <br />concerned about a two-drawer file cabinet, but the basement of Old Town Hall. He said no one has come <br />forth to mention anything about it. Mr. O'Malley said that traditionally the Service Director is in charge <br />of the buildings and controls access to the basement. He said from what he understands the basement is <br />in better condition than it used to be. He said Landmarks will have a difficult time discharging its duty <br />when day-to-day, week-to-week, every department is trying to tackle its own issues with regard to <br />records. Mr. Lang said he will talk with Mrs. Purper again, and speak to the Service Director, as he needs <br />a key to the baseinent which is the Landmarks archives. <br />Mr. O'Malley brought up the rules of procedure and said he drafted a couple of additional suggestions. <br />He invited the board members to look them over. Mr. Barker said the board can set aside time at the next <br />meeting to discuss the rules of procedure, since Mr. O'Malley had to leave the meeting. <br />VII.
