Mrs. VanAuken brought up the North
Olmsted City Magazine that will be coming out at the end of July or beginning of August. It will be
available at homecoming and will also be mailed to every home in the city. The people putting this
together have done quite a bit of research and used the Landmarks slide collection in the process.
Discuss plaques - Mrs. Lord said they are still waiting for the house across the street from Mr. Lang
and there are several other people who have inquired about plaques. Mr. Barker said those individuals
have to do their research before appearing before the board.
VII. ADJOURNMENT:
NIr. Barker suggested that Mr. Jesse and Mr. Miller be formally invited to the next meeting to further
the discussion on the foundation stones. Mrs. Lord pointed out that Council is on vacation in July.
Mr. Barker said if there are no residents coming forth with any proposals he would recommend the
board take a vacation as well. Mr. Dailey said that with the short time period between now and
homecoming, the board should meet in July to discuss plans. Mrs. Lord said the board will meet on
July 14`". It may or may not be a formal meeting. If the board members receive a packet, it is a formal
meeting. It there are no residents coming in, the clerk will send a reminder about the work session.
(Clerk's note: The Architectural Review Board and the Planning Commission are taking the month of
August as a vacation month. Since there are residents on the Landmarks docket for July, the board
might consider taking August as its vacation month).
T. Dubowski made a motion to adjourn the ineeting. The motion was seconded by M. Davis and
unanimously approved. B. Lord adjourned the meeting at 8:20 p.m.
Betty fford, Vice Chairman
%D
Date ?
