The wording can be, due to a delay <br />attributed to the applicant or the applicants need for a variance, or not revising their plans or <br />meeting with the Planning Director as instructed can add additional time to achieving fmal <br />approval. The board asked that the word irrigation be added to the proposed changes. It was <br />suggested that the word irrigation be fit in under section ((h) Landscaping and tree <br />preservation/removal) to read (the general landscaping pattern and type of materials, mounding, <br />irrigation and fencing). The board would like to forester involved with a11 development plans. <br />W. Spalding moved to recommend that Council approve Ordinance 2004-153 with the <br />following recommendation; Under (1126.04 (h)) be amended to show the term irrigation <br />after the word mounding and before fencing. Under (1126.06 (e)) be amend to add the <br />phrase or due to a variance submittal to the Board of Zoning Appeals. S. Hoff-Smith <br />seconded the motion which was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Yager reviewed that the City Planner held a public meeting and she did a very good job of <br />making the committee effective, strong and was very informative as to where the coxnmittee is <br />on updating the master plan. <br />Mrs. Hoff-Smith pointed out that Mr. Yager, Planning Director Wenger and she attended the <br />Ohio Planning Conference and received a lot of good information. One is that once the board <br />and commissions has completed their review there needs to be some type of communication <br />forwarded to Council depicting the process in which the final fmdings were made. Plannuig <br />Director Wenger believed that if Planning Commission motions carried the fmdings of facts as to <br />why the commission is making their decisions not just saying yes or no but add the facts. <br />VIII. ADJOURNNICNT <br />R. Koeth moved to adjourn the meeting. S. Hoff-Smith seconded the motion which was <br />unanimously approved. Meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />5
