Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Fumic the owner
came forward to . be sworn in and address the proposal. The owner indicated that he is back to
request a height variance for the pitch of his roof as he needs room to use the upper area for storage.
An 18 inch variance would allow him just enough room to safely maneuver the storage area. The
board asked why he returned and did not address the 18 inches at the last meeting. The applicant
was not prepared for a quick adjustment that night and did not really know what he would need with
the new calculations. Mr. Conway did not believe he heard why the 18 inches was needed as the
pitch could be adjusted to work.
W. Kremzar moved to grant Joseph Fumic; 23533 Westchester Dr. his request for variance
(1123.12), which consists of a new garage and that the following variance is granted:
An 18 inch variance for a garage higher than code permits, (code permits 15', and applicant
shows 16.5'). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (2)). J. Maloney seconded
the motion which was unanimously approved.
IV. ADJOURNMENT:
W. Kremzar moved to adjourn the meeting. M. Diver seconded the motion which was
unanimously approved. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 pm.
Maloney Chairman ate: Donna Rote lerk of Commission
