Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Misichko, with C <br />& C Builders came forward to be sworn in and review the request. The owner would like to enlarge <br />his garage by adding a 25-foot addition. He would like to have storage and have some room to <br />work. Mr. Misichko felt that the parcel was large enough to accommodate the enlarged garage. The <br />board asked if the owner planed on rumiing a business out of the garage and what the hardship is for <br />the variance. Mr. Misichko indicated that there would be no business and the owners need an area <br />for storage, and to put his third vehicle in the garage. The board voiced that storage is not a <br />hardship. Mr. Ryinarczyk indicated that the size is too large but without the owner's approval it <br />would have to return. Mr. Misichko believed that he could reduce the size and mentioned that there <br />would be no electricity ran to the addition. Mr. Rymarczyk stated that if the addition was a 12-foot <br />addition the applica.nt would not require a variance. Mr. Misichko requested a 20-foot addition for <br />the addition. The board stated that they did not feel that anything over a 16-foot addition is <br />warranted. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Christine L. Haff-Paluck of 6667 Charles Rd her request for <br />variance (1123.12), which consists of a garage addition and that the following variance is <br />granted as amended: <br />1. An 86 sq. ft. variance for a detached garage larger than code permits, (code permits <br />750 sq. ft., applicant shows 836 sq. ft.). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (Cl)). J. Maloney seconded the motion, <br />roll call on the motion J. Maloney, W. Kremzar, T. Kelley, M. Diver "Yes", and N. Sergi "No". <br />Variance Grantecl. <br />4. Charlotte A. Carnenter, 28890 Harnuton Dr, WRD 3 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of erecting a storage shed. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A 72 sq. ft. variance for building a shed (storage) larger than code permits, (code permits 48 sq <br />ft., and applicant shows 120 sq. ft). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 Dl). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. The applicant indicated that she has a slab home and her daughter has moved in with her <br />and they would like a 10 x 12 shed to place her yard tools in. She suggested that cunently there are <br />no homes behind her home as it is a proposed paper street owned by the city. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Charlotte A. Carpenter of 28890 Hampton Drive her request for <br />variance (1123.12), which consists of erecting a storage shed and that the following variance is <br />granted: <br />1. Reading, 4180 Lisa Lane, North Olmsted, WRD 1 <br />Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a new storage building. <br />The following variances are requested: <br />1. A 280 square foot variance for a storage building larger than code permits, (code pernuts 200 sq. <br />ft. and applicant shows 480 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (Dl)). <br />2. A 1 foot variance for a storage building higher than code pernuts, (code permits 12 ft, applicant <br />shows 13 ft,), section (1135.02 (D3)) Note: 4 1. <br />3. A variance for a second storage building on a lot code permits 1, and applicants shows 2), <br />section (1135.02 D1) Note #2. <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (D1)) and (1135.02 (1)3)). <br />Note: #1. Calculations on plan show overall height to be 12 ft, 4" high; applicant shows 13' on <br />application. #2. Applicant wishes to keep an existing 8' x 10' shed.
