Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. Mr. Misichko, with C & C Builders came forward to be sworn in and review the request. The owner would like to enlarge his garage by adding a 25-foot addition. He would like to have storage and have some room to work. Mr. Misichko felt that the parcel was large enough to accommodate the enlarged garage. The board asked if the owner planed on rumiing a business out of the garage and what the hardship is for the variance. Mr. Misichko indicated that there would be no business and the owners need an area for storage, and to put his third vehicle in the garage. The board voiced that storage is not a hardship. Mr. Ryinarczyk indicated that the size is too large but without the owner's approval it would have to return. Mr. Misichko believed that he could reduce the size and mentioned that there would be no electricity ran to the addition. Mr. Rymarczyk stated that if the addition was a 12-foot addition the applica.nt would not require a variance. Mr. Misichko requested a 20-foot addition for the addition. The board stated that they did not feel that anything over a 16-foot addition is warranted. W. Kremzar moved to grant Christine L. Haff-Paluck of 6667 Charles Rd her request for variance (1123.12), which consists of a garage addition and that the following variance is granted as amended: 1. An 86 sq. ft. variance for a detached garage larger than code permits, (code permits 750 sq. ft., applicant shows 836 sq. ft.). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (Cl)). J. Maloney seconded the motion, roll call on the motion J. Maloney, W. Kremzar, T. Kelley, M. Diver "Yes", and N. Sergi "No". Variance Grantecl. 4. Charlotte A. Carnenter, 28890 Harnuton Dr, WRD 3 Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of erecting a storage shed. The following variance is requested: 1. A 72 sq. ft. variance for building a shed (storage) larger than code permits, (code permits 48 sq ft., and applicant shows 120 sq. ft). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 Dl). She suggested that cunently there are no homes behind her home as it is a proposed paper street owned by the city. W. Kremzar moved to grant Charlotte A. Carpenter of 28890 Hampton Drive her request for variance (1123.12), which consists of erecting a storage shed and that the following variance is granted: 1. A 72 sq. ft. variance for building a shed (storage) larger than code permits, (code permits 48 sq ft., and applicant shows 120 sq. ft). Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 Dl). M. Diver seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. 5. William H. Reading, 4180 Lisa Lane, North Olmsted, WRD 1 Request for variance (1123.12). The proposal consists of a new storage building. The following variances are requested: 1. A 280 square foot variance for a storage building larger than code permits, (code pernuts 200 sq. ft. and applicant shows 480 sq. ft.), section (1135.02 (Dl)). 2. A 1 foot variance for a storage building higher than code pernuts, (code permits 12 ft, applicant shows 13 ft,), section (1135.02 (D3)) Note: 4 1. 3. A variance for a second storage building on a lot code permits 1, and applicants shows 2), section (1135.02 D1) Note #2. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.02 (D1)) and (1135.02 (1)3)). Note: #1. Calculations on plan show overall height to be 12 ft, 4" high; applicant shows 13' on application. #2. Applicant wishes to keep an existing 8' x 10' shed.
