W. Kremzar <br />seconded the motion, which was unanimously approved. Variances Granted <br />2). Ben Wollenburg; 4343 Root Road: (WRD 1) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of a gravel driveway. <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1. A variance for adding to an existing gravel driveway extending to a new garage, (code <br />does not permit, applicant shows 25' section in front of new garage). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1161.11 A). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. As no one <br />came forward the chairman advised that the board would move the request to the end of the <br />docket. <br />Note: After the last proposal of the night was addressed the Chairman again called for all <br />interested parties to come forward and again no one was present to address Mr. Wollenburg's <br />request. Chairman Maloney tabled the request until the June 3, 2004 meeting. <br />3). Donald & Moreen Diver; 24711 Mitchell Drive: (WRD 4) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of adding a patio room to rear of home. <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />The following variance is requested: <br />l. An 18 foot 5-inch variance for a residence to close to' rear property line, (code requires <br />50', and applicant shows 31' 7"). <br />Note: Existing residence is only 43' 7" from rear property line. Code requires 50' rear yard <br />setback. Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.08 A). <br />Chairman Maloney called all interested parties forward to review the request. . Mr. & Mrs. <br />Diver the owners and Mr. Brown the owner of American patios came forward to be sworn in <br />and review the request. The owners would like to have a three-season glass and screen patio. <br />The rear of the lot is small and due to existing water issues there are a lot of insects which <br />detour the owner from using the backyard. Applicants reviewed that they had talked with <br />their neighbors and there were no objections. <br />W. Kremzar moved to grant Donald & Moreen Diver of 24711 Mitchell Drive their <br />request for variance (1123.12), which consists of adding a patio room to rear of home <br />and that the following variances are granted: <br />1. A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />2. An 18 foot 5 inch variance for a residence too close to rear property line, (code <br />requires 501, and applicant shows 31' 711). <br />Which is in violation of Ord. 90-125 section (1135.08 A). N. Sergi seconded the motion, <br />which was unanimously approved. Variances Granted The Building Commissioner noted <br />that a clerical error was found and corrected. The proper variance is 18-foot not 8-foot as <br />stated in notices. <br />4). Laketec Communication; 27881 Lorain Road: (WRD 3) <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Proposal consists of a canopy addition.. <br />A special permit to add to a non-conforming building (1165.02). <br />The following variance is requested: <br />1.
