<br />North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting <br /> <br />December 10, 1997 <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting called to order: 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />Attendance: Claire Hayes, Vice-Chairman <br /> Janet Saringer, City Council Member <br /> Richard Scott, Member <br /> Tim Smith, Member <br /> Mike Dolansky, Commissioner <br /> Todd Morgan, Assistant Commissioner <br /> Pat Scott, Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: Dave Gardner, Chairman <br /> Carolyn Kasler, Safety Director <br /> Robert Kasler, Member <br /> <br />Visitors: Donna Szalay, Program Supervisor <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes: <br />Ms. Hayes, Vice-Chairman, asked the members to review the minutes of the last meeting held <br />on August 13, 1997. Mr. Scott noted that he was omitted from the attendance list in the <br />minutes of the May 14, 1997 meeting and a motion was made, seconded and passed <br />unanimously to note this error. The minutes of August 13, 1997 meeting were then approved <br />and a motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously to accept the minutes as mailed. <br /> <br />Visitors Opportunity to Address Commission: <br />Donna Szalay, Recreation Supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Department stated that <br />she was present to address any questions regarding the discussion of the proposed <br /> <br />Concession recommendations being reviewed that evening. <br /> <br /> <br />Report by Recreation Commissioner: <br />Mr. Dolansky asked the members to review the Administrative Report at their leisure and he <br />would address their questions at a later time so that there would be sufficient time to address <br />several important issues that evening. <br /> <br />Mr. Dolansky stated that letters and a survey regarding fencing were sent out to the residents <br />that border the south line of Barton/Bradley Park. All of the residents returned surveys and the <br />majority felt that the property line should not be fenced nor should it have any landscape <br />mounding. One very vocal resident still feels quite strongly that there should be a fence put up <br /> <br />
