Commission Meeting
March 25, 1998
Page Six

made out of white brick identical to that used in the Recreation Center. The initial estimate for
the sign with the electric, sign, and brick work included is approximately $5,000.

Mr. Dolansky noted that a Memorandum of Understanding for Sharing Facilities between the
City of North Olmsted and the North Olmsted School District had been included in the meeting
packets. Owing to the length of preceding discussions this item will be discussed at the next
Commission Meeting.

Mr. Smith stated that Mrs. Benya, Program Instructor, had asked him if the Parks and
Recreation Commission would be interested in conducting a summer basketball league on the
outdoor courts. There was some discussion about the condition of the two basketball courts
located in North Olmsted Park but overall there was no opposition to the concept.

There being no further business, a motion was made, seconded and passed unanimously to
adjourn the meeting at 10:15 p.m.

______________________________ ____________________________
Claire Hayes, Chairman Patricia Scott, Secretary
