TOM JENKINS, SAFETY DIRECTOR <br />None. <br /> <br />SUB-COMMITTEE REPORT <br />None. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />[Per memo from Tom Jenkins on 7/5] As a note to a query at a previous meeting regarding the <br />licensure requirements for day care programs and extended programs: In response to a referral by <br />Don Copeland, Joyce Bressler of Starting Point (a child care and early education program) was <br />contacted. According to Joyce, municipal programs and schools are exempt from licensure unless <br />they are intending to receive federal, state, or local monies as subsidy or reimbursement based on <br />need. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />MOTION TO ADJOURN <br />There was a motion by Rich Scott to adjourn the meeting, with a second by Axel Hoyer.
