It was noted that Sandy Sorge has resigned from the <br />commission due to a conflict with her new job. There was a motion to approve the minutes from <br />February by Michael, with a second by Bill. Roll-call; all in favor; motion passed. No corrections <br />or additions were requested. <br /> <br />Roger Galippo, NOHC President, Addresses Commission: <br />Presented letter of ideas of the North Olmsted Hockey Club (NOHC) for the studio rink office, <br />which is above the rink offices. These ideas include: <br /> <br />?Clean up and renovate the office space; furnish with office furniture and possibly carpet the <br />room <br /> <br />?Plan to invest funds to accommodate the renovation; willing to provide manpower to help out <br />with the labor <br /> <br />?Goal is to have ability to use this space as the NOHC “home office” <br /> <br />?NOHC realizes it cannot occupy solely, as it is public property; however, wish to utilize this <br />office for their meetings on a regular basis <br /> <br />?Propose the Rec Center charge a nominal fee to other groups to utilize <br /> <br />Todd agrees to the purchase of locked storage/cabinets for the sole use of NOHC. While the Rec <br />Center cannot give exclusive usage rights to NOHC, Todd is willing to commit to NOHC ability <br />to use as necessary for their meetings on a regular basis in exchange for their investment. Todd <br />will consider establishing and, thus, charging a nominal fee for other groups to utilize. <br /> <br /> <br />?Mike suggested the NOHC devise a plan/proposal for their ideas including all costs, so that <br />the Rec Commission can try to meet their commitment through accessibility and fee structure. <br /> <br />
