approved for implementation. Randi made a motion to approve the permanent fencing as
proposed by NOSO; Lisa seconded the motion. Vote taken; 3 to 1 in favor of the motion.
Michael asked that his reason for his “no” vote be noted as such: He is not objecting to the
fencing, but he would like to see the last 1/3 of the fencing, which is in the outfield, be
temporary.

?Review of Chagrin Valley plans for N.O. Park:

?Lisa Thomas, Ray Thomas, Service Director and Todd walked the site of the plans to
determine if the plans were feasible with the work to be done in-house.

?Newest revision to plan calls for:

?2 New Tennis courts to built away from diamond #5 (moved North)

?Move Horseshoe Pits (South)
?

Elyria Fence will move fence, rather than erect new
?

Rec. She was concerned that the reports up until now
have given a “thin” picture; however, the April report appears to be showing a 4% increase for
Year-to-Date. The first 3 months, the projected 1% increase in revenue was not realized. Lisa
stated for the record that she is concerned about Revenue and is keeping a close eye on this and
the expenditures.

Lisa then spoke of the status of Springvale. Lisa presented a summary of the project to each of
the members. Springvale was scheduled to open one week from today; however, the weather has
delayed the opening three weeks from yesterday. The engineer needs 4 straight days of good
weather to get back on track. All golf leagues have been loyal to Springvale and will be back next
season.

rd
In regards to the Munter’s unit (dehumidification unit in ice rink), the Law Dept. brought in a 3
party engineer who made a complete assessment of the situation. This engineer returned a report
stating that the manufacturer was wrong in setting the unit, and therefore, NORC should be free
and clear of all costs of repair due to initial installation problem (approx. $20-30,000).

SUB-COMMITTEE REPORT
None.

Page 4
