Minutes of a Meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission August 6, 2007 Tennis Rates Mr. Barker said he heard a rumor going around about tennis rates were expanding quite sufficiently for non-residents, and instead of my trying to figure it all out, I notified Ted (DiSalvo) and John (Dailey). Ted responded quickly, and his answer was forwarded to the resident. I think it was a great answer and got everything straightened around. Mr. Barker suggested to the resident that if they had any other questions regarding pricing to come to one of the Rec Commission meetings because he knew that the Commission spent a lot of time on new price structures. Mr. Barker again thanked the Commissioner for his quick response and good job. New Chairperson Mr. DiSalvo asked if a new Parks and Recreation Commission member would be appointed by the Mayor; Mr. Dailey said he/she would be. Mr. DiSalvo asked if Mr. Lasko assumed the position of the Chairperson until that time. Mr. Dailey said he did not know; Mr. Lasko could be chairperson de facto for a while, and then someone else could be Vice Chair. Taste of North Olmsted Saturday night, Community Council will have a Taste of North Olmsted. There will be some area restaurants involved for a nominal fee of $5 or $10 a ticket to sample some of the food from the eateries around North Olmsted. ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING Upon Motion made, seconded, and unanimously approved, the meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m. The next scheduled meeting of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission will be September 10, 2007.
