Minutes of a Meeting of
The North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission
September 10, 2007

Basketball Courts

Mr. Scarl would like to go on record and commend the Police Department. They are there every night
– they have done an excellent job there and have really cleaned up the whole area. Mr. Dailey said it
was a potential problem that got squelched, and thanked Mr. Scarl for his input.

This concluded the report of the Community Life Services Director.

OLD BUSINESS

None.

NEW BUSINESS

Mr. Groden said he was asked by a resident what happened to the portable toilet at Little Clague Park.
She had an outing with a group, and the prior time she was there the toilet was there, and the latest
outing it wasn’t. Mr. Dailey asked if the Park Maintenance Crew noticed if it had been gone. Mr.
DiSalvo asked when it happened. Mr. Groden said she asked on Saturday, September 8, 2007, so he
assumed it was probably in August. Mr. Dailey and Mr. DiSalvo were baffled by this, since nothing
was reported missing or vandalized. Mr. Groden said it was either a Girl Scout or Cub Scout outing
in the Pavilion, and the kids did not have anywhere to go. Mr. Dailey said it was apparently stolen,
th
and he would let Mr. Groden know tomorrow, September 11, by phone.

ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING

Upon Motion made, seconded, and unanimously approved, the meeting adjourned. The next
scheduled meeting of the North Olmsted Parks and Recreation Commission will be October 1,
2007.

Accepted and Approved:

______________________________________________
John J. Lasko, Jr., Chairperson and Acting Secretary

Date: _____________________________

:jpr

Page 9
