<br /> <br /> <br />NORTH OLMSTED PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> <br />October 4, 2004 <br /> <br />Meeting called to order: 7:00p.m. <br /> <br />In Attendance: Norm Baxter, Member <br />Ted DiSalvo, Commissioner <br />Betsy Drenski, Assistant Commissioner <br /> Richard Jesse, Safety Director <br />Randi Jones, Member; Acting Chairman <br />Anna Kanis, Member <br />William D. Kelley, Chairman <br />John J. Lasko, Jr., Member <br /> <br />Absent: Paul Miller, Councilman <br /> <br />Visitors: Ed Gerrity <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mr. Lasko moved to approve the Minutes of September. Mr. Jesse seconded the Motion; all <br />were in favor, and the September 2004 Minutes were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />REPORT OF THE RECREATION COMMISSIONER <br /> <br />Basketball Courts <br /> <br />The basketball courts are finished. There will be a fence placed around it next year; the former <br />fence was in poor condition and was removed. The landscaping was completed. Mr. Baxter <br />commented that the landscaping was done nicely. The area was fertilized, seeded and strawed on <br />Friday. <br /> <br />Family Changing Room <br /> <br />Ms. Jones asked if the family changing room is in use. Mr. DiSalvo said that yes, people are <br />finding out about it and are using the room. <br /> <br />
