Minutes of a Meeting of
The Parks and Recreation Commission
May 2, 2005

introduction of monies to be set aside for an initial tennis study to look at the various properties
and sites and see what might work. If soil samples were included in that as part of the study, e.g.,
there might be a history of wetlands, that might be a necessary step. It was not limited to soil
samples. It was more a survey on city properties or any alternate sites that might come into play.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Minutes of April 2005

Mr. Kelley asked if the Members of the Commission read the Minutes from April 2005 and asked
for a Motion to approve them. Mr. Jesse moved in favor; the Motion seconded by Mr. Miller.
The Chairman asked all members in favor of the Minutes to signify by an aye. There being no
objection, the April 2005 Minutes were approved unanimously.

SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS

Collaboration between the Rec Center and School Board

The Sub Committee did not meet since the last meeting of the Rec Commission.
