Page Nine

project. Mr. Terbrack said that it was slotted for $14,000 and another $1,500 was added for
advertising to get the bids in that the City funded above and beyond the grant.

Gazebo

Ms. Jones said that Community Council is working towards the Gazebo in the Park being finalized.
Jack Boss (Boss Concrete) said the Gazebo needs some more concrete; he fixed it once before but it
was only a temporary fix.

Homecoming 2006

thth
Ms. Jones asked that, for Homecoming, August 24 through the 27, 2006, Community Council is
interested in buying some benches next to the rides, but for the Park to use the rest of the time. There
are many people, especially pregnant women, who need a place to sit. Ms. Jones asked Mr. DiSalvo
for some prices to get this matter handled; perhaps six or so benches, light enough for city workers to
move, but heavy enough so that they don’t disappear.

Rotary Shelter

Mr. DiSalvo noted again that the Rotary Shelter was totally torn down. Home Depot is listing
supplies for the Rec Department. Last week, the Commissioner spoke with former Mayor Musial and,
whatever expense Home Depot will not cover, the Rotary Club will. The Shelter will be built by the
maintenance crew of the Recreation Department. The picnic tables will be secured.

ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING

Upon Motion made by Mr. Lasko, duly seconded by Mr. Baxter and unanimously approved,
the meeting adjourned at 8:02 p.m. The next meeting of the North Olmsted Parks and
Recreation Commission is scheduled for March 6, 2006.

Accepted and Approved:

________________________________________________________________________
William D. Kelley, Chairman

________________________________________________________________________
Judith A. Ptacek-Roche, Secretary

Date: _____________________________
Page 9
