<br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br />NORTH OLMSTED PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />May 5, 2008 <br /> <br />Meeting called to order: 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />In Attendance: Terry Groden, Chairperson <br />John J. Lasko, Jr., Co-Chairperson <br /> <br /> John Dailey, Director, Community Life Services <br />Mark Mahoney, Councilman <br /> <br /> Betsy Drenski, Assistant Commissioner <br /> Norm Baxter, Member <br /> Julie Nader, Member <br /> <br />Visitors: Jennifer Rudolph <br />Linda Powell <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mr. Groden opened the meeting with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance by all after roll call was <br />taken. <br /> <br />VISITORS’ OPPORTUNITY TO ADDRESS COMMISSION <br /> <br />Welcome <br /> <br />Mr. Groden welcomed everyone to the Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting of May 5, 2008 <br />and welcomed the visitors. At that time, he opened the floor to comments from any of the visitors. <br />The visitors reported that they had no comments at this time but reserved their right to as the meeting <br />progressed. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF APRIL 7, 2008 <br /> <br />Mr. Groden clarified that, in the discussion about the income tax bump, in the third paragraph on page <br />11, last sentence, “currently, we have 2-1/8%” should read, if the 1/8% is approved, “currently, we <br />would have 2-1/8%.” That was the only comment that Mr. Groden had about the Minutes and asked <br />if anyone wanted to make a Motion to approve the Minutes of April 7, 2008, with that revision. Upon <br />Motion moved, seconded and approved unanimously, the Minutes were approved as so revised. <br /> <br />SUB COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />
