NEW BUSINESS:

Mr. Groden passed out flyers concerning a public hearing for Community Development
Block Grant funds that is being administered by Cuyahoga County. In the past we have been
able to get grants for the new playground at the North Olmsted Park, ADA accessibility at
the Community Cabin and the Park and are currently working on the relocation of the food
cupboard. The two main projects the committee is considering is either a streetscape enhance-
ment for County Club Blvd. by Kennedy Ridge, or improvements and repairs of part of the
bike path that runs between Stearns Rd. and Great Northern Blvd. This does not mean that
those are the only projects the committee will be considering applying for. Everyone is encour-
aged to come to the meeting and submit their ideas. There are two major groups that the Block
Grant funds try to target such at older parts of the city that need to be spruced up, and areas that
need improvement for low to moderate income residents.

COMMUNICATIONS:

ADJOURNMENT:

With no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.

_____________________________________ ___________________________________
Terry Groden, Chair Linda Andrews, Secretary

Approved:

_____________________________________
