the total income listed by cost center on the revenue detail printout did not match
the income comparison statements. This is due to the endowment totals not
being included in the income comparison figures.

OLD BUSINESS

At the previous meeting, it had been reported that a capital project list would be
prepared and presented to the Commission at this meeting. Ms. Leaver reported
that the list is still a work in progress as it will include projects to be paid for out of
the Recreation Center account as well as money saved with the passage of
Issue 34. Ms. Leaver stated that several smaller projects have already been
completed or are in the planning stages for the Recreation Center. The
department has already purchased a new pick up truck for use in the parks and
has completed the demolition of four decorative piers near the outdoor pool. The
demolition was done on an emergency basis due to the piers collapsing and the
safety concern this presented. Two other projects are currently under
consideration: new lockers for the locker rooms and remodeling the lobby. This
information will be presented to the Commission at the next meeting.

The Commission was asked for their input on any capital projects that they
believe would be beneficial. Commission members indicated they would give
this considerable thought and offer their suggestions at a later time. Mr. Baxter
did indicate that speed bumps between East Park and West Park in North
Olmsted Park would be greatly appreciated due to the high rate of speed of
traffic.

NEW BUSINESS

Ms. Leaver inquired if there was any decision by the North Olmsted School
District regarding pay to participate. The Recreation Center reserves both the ice
and the pool for the High School teams and, if there will not be extracurricular
activities this year, the city can rent the facility to other entities. Ms. Leaver
reported that other organizations have approached the City about renting the
space and that a decision is needed by the school as soon as possible.

Mr. Groden stated that the School Board and Administration have not reached a
decision at this time. There will be public meetings scheduled in the near future
to discuss this matter. Mr. Groden did indicate that if the levy passes in August,
there will be no need to pay and sports will proceed as they have in years past.
Mr. Groden indicated that he will contact Mr. DiSalvo to discuss this matter
further.

Ms. Leaver inquired about the use of school facilities, particularly the basketball
and tennis courts, for city sponsored leagues. The brochures advertising league
registration is scheduled to go to print and the city will need to know whether they
can use the buildings. Ms. Leaver finally inquired about the Shared Use Facility
