EXPENSE REPORT CONT.:

Mr. Baxter asked why they put in a cement walkway to the Memorial Garden at
North Olmsted Park. Ms. Wenger explained the work going on at the park is due
to a grant we received through the American Disability Act a year ago for the
Community Cabin, Senior Center and North Olmsted Park. We had an expert in
the ADA evaluate all City facilities and buildings in 2007 and the walkway was
included in his report to provided the proper surfaces from the parking lots to
building entries to restrooms to water fountains etc. to make sure we are in Federal
compliance.

OLD BUSINESS:

NOSA fees:

NOSA is paying $25.00 preparation fee for each time they use the fields. We are
not collecting permit fees at this time. Mr. Baxter stated that we used to collect
permit fees. Mr. Disalvo said he would look into that. NOSA also contributes a
minimum of $5,000 a year to an endowment fund to help with various expenses.

River Oaks closing:
This will not effect business at the Rec. Complex one way or another. A new
facility in Westlake is being built that is called Club Paramount. The entire River
Oaks staff is relocating to Paramount.

Skate park surveillance system:
The system ended up costing $5,951. The system will provide eight cameras and
will have infra-red light to help track activities at night. It will also include a DVD
recorder and will be monitored from the Tennis office, Recreation Commissioners
office and possibly the Police Station. The target date for installation is mid June.

Play equipment ramp replacement at Barton Bradley Park
:
th
The ramp has been purchased and the installation date is no later than May 10.

Ms. Nader inquired about the priority list for Recreation projects. Mr. Disalvo
stated he would be meeting with Jane concerning that and would be able to report
on it in the next meeting.

NEW BUSINESS:

strd
Ms. Drenski stated the Ice Show is May 21 – 23 with 150 skaters ranging from
two years old to 65 years old, there will be a total of four shows.
