<br /> <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS CONT.: <br /> <br />Ms. Wenger stated there are two summer concerts coming up at North Olmsted Park <br />thth <br />Sunday, June 13 and Sunday, June 27 starting at 3:00 p.m. It will be a different <br />kind of events then we have had at the park, participants are local high school students <br />that will be drawing a younger crowd. <br /> <br />Ms. Wenger also stated that the city received a grant for the Community Garden. <br />There will be an organizational meeting for those that are interested in getting <br />th <br />involved on Saturday, May 15 2:00 p.m. at North Olmsted Library. <br /> <br />Concerning North Olmsted Soccer Organization Ms. Wenger spoke with Miguel Cora <br />has an idea for improving the area around the flag pole which would include doing a fund- <br />raiser selling bricks for paving the area. They are also interested in planting more trees <br />at the park. The Rec. Commission asked for more information on the flag pole project <br />from Miguel Cora. <br /> <br />Mr. Disalvo asked if anyone knows someone who is a high school senior or graduated, <br />there is a part time job available 40 hours for 12 weeks this summer. The job entails <br />park duties and light janitorial work. <br /> <br />Ms. Powell asked if it was only the softball program where we do not charge non-resident <br />fees. Mr. Disalvo stated the North Olmsted Softball Association has their own program <br />and they rent a field from us and in the past for every non-resident registration they would <br />give us $10.00, which currently is not the case.
