REC. CENTER REPAIRS / WORK UPDATE CONT.:

We have completed the renovations in the main office area and are ready to rent out the new
meeting room.

Jane Leaver has asked if we could get the new city logo on our building so we are having one
made that will be placed to the left of the automatic doors of the main entrance. The Service
Department has just completed a smaller sign with the new logo for the main office entrance.
We have also painted the siding on the front of the building with the new logo color and will
complete the upper portion within the month. The front area will have new mulch and flowers
planted as well.

The fire alarm system money was budgeted for this year and we are moving along with that
project. The building department is handling the specifics and will be putting it up for bid
very soon.

REVENUE / EXPENSE:

Ms. Drenski reported that revenue figures are up for the year. In the fall rink and pool fees
will be increased. Even though we have had a lot of unexpected expenses we are still doing
well. There may be a rollover balance from last year however, I will have to confirm with
finance to see exactly what is available.

PROGRAM UPDATE:

Ms. Drenski informed the Commission that the Ice Show is coming up and will run from
thth
.
May 18 –May 20Summer camp registration is currently at 183 children and we will

take upto 220. Our new program supervisor Mike Kish just started and he will be overse-
eing Tennis as well as other programming.

Ms. Drenski mentioned that Jeff Marshall went to the United States Figure Skating
convention and the Cleveland Edges were recognized for retaining seventy-five percent
of their members which in turn make them the largest skating club in Cleveland right now
with 134 members. Jeff and I are also working on bringing in a person who does sport club
type training next March. We will ask all of our organizations to send one member from
each club to discuss various aspects of a sport club so that we will all be working together
on the same page.

SHARED FACILITIES AGREEMENT WITH NORTH OLMSTED CITY SCHOOLS
:

Ms. Drenski stated that the Mayor wanted to convey to the commission that they are still
working on an agreement with the schools. The agreement is not to add or take away from
the existing agreement but to state what dates and times the facilities will be used, any
monies that will be exchanged and preparation responsibilities. We have had a lot of problems
