<br />RECREATION COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />26000 LORAIN ROAD <br />MINUTES FOR AUGUST 6, 2018 <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Scarl called the meeting to order at 7:03 at the Recreation Center Administrative <br />Offices and led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present: Chris Scarl, Kim Rahm, Vera Brewer, Ed Garrity, Lou Brossard, Marty Clancy <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff: Betsy Drenski, Commissioner; Chris Wetmore, Assistant Commissioner <br /> <br />Visitor: None <br /> <br /> <br />EVENT UPDATES: <br /> <br />The recent events we had are the Boom, Fleas and Movies in the Park, all events were <br />a success and were well attended. <br /> <br /> <br />PROGRAM UPDATES: <br /> <br />Summer camp will be ending on August 17 and we will be offering an extended camp through <br />the end of the month. Baseball and softball is winding down, enrollment numbers were the <br />highest we have seen to date. We are having a problem getting school permits for programs <br />because the schools do not know when the move in date will be, therefore we cannot give the <br />leagues their dates at this time.* <br /> <br />*Update: We did receive the school permits on August 16. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
