Mr. Matejka said the additional space requested would allow for a safer drive to the back of the <br />property. The neighboring lot is owned by the same owner as the gas station and is not buildable <br />so he did not think it would affect the neighbor's property. Mr. Yund said he has tried to stabilize <br />his business by updating the equipment and providing a good exterior appearance. Mr. Papotto <br />asked about the hours of operation, Mr. Yund said the business is open until 7:00 p.m. during <br />daylight savings and 8:00 p.m. when the time changes. Mr. Allain pointed out that without the <br />variance, no parking could be located on the east side of the property since it is a narrow lot. Mr. <br />Papotto was not concerned about the noise levels affecting future development on the <br />neighboring property since they will not be running 24 hours per day. <br />Mr. Allain moved, seconded by Mr. Papotto, to approve the following variance for 18- <br />12827; Andy's Auto Wash; 28800 Lorain Road: <br />1.
