Ms. Lieber believed that
the fire at 25747 Butternut Ridge Road was significant to the district. Mr. Morse asked that the
number of projects brought before the Commission for Certificates of Appropriateness be
mentioned instead of each address being listed. Ms. Egan -Reeves thought that mentioning the
types of projects would remind residents in the district that they need to get approval for certain
types of projects. Mr. Schumann wanted the fact that the Commission advises homeowners in
ways to preserve the historical integrity of their homes to be included. Ms. Lieber suggested
listing the number of Centennial Homes approved with a spotlight of some interesting
information unearthed during the research. Commissioners wanted the hardie board approval
included. Ms. Lieber suggested eliminating the goals from the Year in Review and making goal
setting a function of the annual review of the Historic Preservation Plan.
COMMUNICATIONS
Old Town Hall
Ms. Lieber said the project will not be a 2018 capital improvement since there are other priority
projects.
