Grace, J. Helon, T. Restifo, and R. Bugala <br />Also present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions Oring <br />Mr. Grace moved to accept the summary- of: motions for the meeting of May 2; <br />1990 noting that there would not be complete minutes for this meeting, <br />seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />It was decided to hear the two continued items for B.P. Oil along with <br />item number 4 which is being -requested tonight. <br />B. P. Oil (Sohio),.23425 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 ft., 11 inch variance for <br />height of pole sign. Request 188.52 sq. ft. for one side of pole sign <br />(maximum sq. ft. reduced from 50 sq. ft. to 40.76 sq. ft. because shroud <br />and columns are over maximum allowed). Violations of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1163.06(g) and 1163.06(f)4. Request 365 sq. ft. variance for total sign <br />area (includes all signage on property). Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1163.06(d). Continued from meeting of May 2, 1990. <br />B. P. Oil Co. (Sohio), 29131 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 4 ft., 11 inch variance for <br />height of pole sign, request 188.52 sq. ft. variance for one side of pole <br />sign (maximum sq. ft. reduced from 50 sq. ft. to 40.76 because shroud and <br />columns are over maximum allowed). Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 116;3.07(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to R. Will, B. P. Oil, and K. Miller, sign contractor. <br />Mr. Bugala pointed out that the two items were continued because the board <br />did not agree with the original request, however the new item would appear <br />to be the same. Mr. Will presented revised plans for a pole sign with a 6 <br />by 6 foot logo panel and only two price modules for a total of 56 square <br />feet on each side.
